Abstract: This paper describes the development of a tool for English teaching support using a ludic (playful) format, which applies Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques. The application allows teachers and students to automatically generate three types of games for learning or practicing English: crosswords, word-search and a variant of the battleship game. We describe the main characteristics of the tool, the way the games work and the linguistic resources that were created in order to build it. The use of NLP and Artificial Intelligence techniques for generating this type of exercises shows promising results.
