Abstract: The Consumer Internet of Things (or CIoT) refers to the vast number of physical personal devices, ranging from very simple ones such as fitness trackers to high-end smart electric vehicles, that are connected to the Internet. This connectivity has eliminated the barriers between the digital and physical worlds and allows us to use the data generated by these devices to improve various aspects of our lives.
