Abstract: This dataset and code are associated with the paper "Exploring New Mangrove Horizons: A Scalable Remote Sensing Approach with Planet-NICFI and Sentinel-2 Images." The dataset includes: Training and test points are used for classification. Training and test area define the boundaries of all training and test points. Mangrove potential zone restrict the mapping output to potential mangrove habitats. The provided script is written in Python and runs on Google Colab. To execute the code, users must have a Google Earth Engine (GEE) account and upload the required datasets to their GEE assets. Using this dataset and script, researchers and practitioners can replicate or adapt the methodology for mangrove mapping in various geographical regions.
