Abstract: This workshop explores primitive structural fundaments in information, and then intelligence, as a model of ‘thinking like nature’ (natural informatics). It examines the task of designing a general adaptive intelligence from a low-order (non- anthropic) perspective, to arrive at a least-ambiguous and most-general computa- tional/developmental foundation.
TL;DR: An information theory approach to modeling challenges in the development of HLAI, based on signal entropy and natural selection.
