MedSAM, a specialized adaptation of the Segment Anything Model (SAM), is designed to excel in various medical imaging challenges such as organ segmentation and anomaly detection. In this step-by-step tutorial, we cover the complete workflow—from setting up the required environment and installing the necessary dependencies to loading the model, preprocessing images, and performing segmentation inference.
