IKDSumm: Incorporating key-phrases into BERT for extractive disaster tweet summarization

Abstract: Highlights•Proposed IKDSumm uses tweets’ key-phrase in a BERT-based model to generate summary.•We propose DRAKE for key-phrase extraction of disaster-specific tweets.•DRAKE outperform existing key-phrase extraction methods for disaster-specific tweets.•We release annotated key-phrase for 7 disaster events of various locations and types.•A comparison of 8 SOTA approaches across 12 datasets confirms superiority of IKDSumm.
