Abstract: Highlights•Considered the impact of 5 human activities in the kitchen on IAQ, not just cooking.•Analysed the simultaneous occurrence of multiple activities using fixed effect model.•The use of the gas stove significantly deteriorated indoor air quality.•Despite the high range hood flow rate, PM removal efficiency was not ideal.•Using the oven, washing machine and water tap has minimal impact on IAQ.
