In Defense of Hyper-Logicist AI

Abstract: We argue for "hyper"-logicism, the view, hitherto unarticulated, that AI can succeed in creating a genuine robot agent by building a symbol system of the appropriate sort which has no sub-symbolic interaction whatsoever with the external world.
