Abstract: Highlights•Presentation of the MitH framework to model and mitigate hygroscopicity during low-cost PM sensor readings.•The main features are anomalies-tolerant, dynamic and adaptable, real-time and reference station-agnostic.•Inclusion of a corrective functions optimization module, minimizing RH and PM correlation.•The code is open source along with the low-cost and reference station-aligned datasets.•The proposed framework is exploitable for air pollution modelling, interpolation and visualization techniques.
