Abstract: In this study, we empirically analyze the impact of digital transformation on the quality of corporate information disclosure by utilizing samples from listed companies in the Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share markets. The results indicate that digital transformation significantly enhances the corporate disclosure quality, and this causal relationship remains robust following the application of robustness tests. The study further accounts for the effects of macro-level factors, company financial dimensions, and corporate governance structures. Our research demonstrates that digital technologies can enhance the standardization and structuring of information disclosure, leading to the creation of a digital decision-making system that protects market participant interests and fosters the healthy development of the capital market.
