Abstract: Highlights•We explore the impact of noise on pairwise similarity and affinity propagation among superpixels.•Different affinity graphs are combined according to the subspace-preserving representation of superpixels.•An online low-rank representation based-graph is proposed to improve segmentation accuracy and reduce computational complexity.
