Abstract: Highlights•The Voronoi diagram of Splinegons can be utilized for decomposing Splinegons.•Geometric algorithms based on polygon triangulation can be extended to Splinegons through Voronoi-based decomposition.•Voronoi-based decomposition demonstrates superior performance in theory and practice compared to other decompositions.
