Abstract: Highlights•A color image watermarking algorithm using FLS-SVM and BKF distribution is proposed.•The magnitude information of QDFT is less sensitive to the change of images.•The magnitude information of QDFT is used to embed the watermark image.•BKF distribution is first employed to estimate the geometric distortion parameters.•FLS-SVM is first introduced into image watermarking algorithm.
