Abstract: Surgical documentation has many implications. However, its primary function is to transfer information about surgical procedures to other medical professionals. Therefore, we developed a novel model-based approach for documentation of visceral surgeries, denoted as 'Surgical Documentation Markup-Modeling' (SDM-M).
