Abstract: Highlights•The Australian Epilepsy Project aims to democratise clinical care in epilepsy.•This is done by using AI for clinical decision support with large-scale and multimodal datasets.•In this paper, we highlight imperative clinical AI topics such as Trust, Responsibility and Safety.•Adaptive guidelines are essential while preparing for augmented-intelligence based and safe implementation of AI in medicine.
