Abstract: This study examines the evolution and impact of machine learning in Ghana. In this paper, we provide a comprehensive overview and assessment of the field and examine its prospects for various industries in Ghana. Data for this study was obtained through an online survey and expert interviews with various stakeholders. The findings of the data shows that the field has transformed several industries and modes of work in many ways. Drawing insights from the findings, the paper concludes with key recommendations to guide policymakers and other stakeholders in harnessing the potential of ML for Ghana's sustainable development.
