Abstract: Highlights•A modified (1+λ<math><mi is="true">λ</mi></math>)-CMA-ES based on an ensemble of mutations is proposed for autonomous parking.•The proposed mCMA-ES algorithm leverages on both Gaussian- and Cauchy-based mutations.•Comparative performance shows that mCMA-ES is scalable to different planning horizons.
