ECG-iCOVIDNet: Interpretable AI model to identify changes in the ECG signals of post-COVID subjects

Abstract: Highlights•Propose shallow CNNs for the classification of healthy and post-COVID using ECG data.•Proposed ECG-iCOVIDNet works only on the raw ECG data.•ECG-HiCOVIDNet does late fusion of HRV & CNN features extracted from the raw ECG.•Elaborate evaluation has been done against state-of-the-art methods.•ShAP is used to evaluate interpretability at the patient and population level.
