MEG source reconstruction based on identification of directed source interactions on whole-brain anatomical networks

Abstract: Highlights•An MEG source reconstruction method using whole-brain network dynamics is presented.•The dynamics is modeled based on anatomical connectivity inferred from diffusion MRI.•The fMRI-based prior is incorporated to improve the robustness of the solution.•All parameters in the model are estimated by the variational Bayesian algorithm.•Source amplitude and whole-brain effective connectivity are estimated simultaneously.
