Hardness, Tensile and Compression Test on various specimens

Abstract: Rockwell Hardness C Test was performed on a sample of steel provided and the experimental readings are recorded with inclusion of theory, procedure, pictures of the samples after testing is done. Tensile and compression test was performed on specimens of brass and cast iron to plot their respective stress strain curve using Excel and the readings were then recorded to get the Young's modulus and materials properties. The entire experiment procedure, readings, theory, description, sample specifications are included to help the reader get a basic understanding of the various tests which are fundamental in determining material properties and their applications in various areas.
