Abstract: In this paper, we introduce Milnor-Myerson games, a multiplayer interaction structure at the core of machine learning (ML), to shed light on the fundamental principles and implications the artificial principal-agent problem has had in landmark ML results like AlphaGo and large language models (LLMs).
